Kazunori “Rick” Nakano

Kazunori “Rick” Nakano brings more than 27 years of grain trading and management experience. He started his career with Marubeni Corporation’s cereals and grains section in 1991 then transferred to Columbia Grain in Portland, OR, as marketing manager. He held several senior management roles in Japan and with Marubeni’s Gavilon Agricultural Investment division. Before joining USW as Country Director, Japan, in 2019, Rick was General Manager of the company’s Pacific Grain Terminal in Tokyo. Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from WASEDA University.
