Dong-Chan “Channy” Bae is USW Country Director in Seoul, South Korea. Channy joined USW in 2022 after 26 years with Samyang Corp. He spent two decades as a manager responsible for purchasing wheat in the Grain Procurement Division. He also performed globalization projects such as a joint venture and a merger related to flour milling, premix, sugar, tapioca starch, and food flavor. As Head of the Overseas Business Team, Channy oversaw the administration of Samyang offices in New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
